The Parkwest Regional Employment and Development Corporation (PREDC) operates as a non-profit organization. PREDC operates with board member representation from each area within the region served: RM of Ellice – Archie (Francophone community), Rural Municipality of Hamiota, Rural Municipality of Rossburn, Rural Municipality of Russell – Binscarth, Prairie View Municipality, Birdtail Sioux First Nation, Gambler First Nation and Waywayseecappo First Nation.
In 1978, a number of community non-profit organizations contracted with Federal and Provincial government agencies to address employment and human resource development needs throughout the region. In 1999, after community round tables and meetings with stakeholders, businesses, industry, Chambers of Commerce, and business groups, a decision was made to incorporate as a Regional Board.
